The installation quality of the single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump has an important influence on the operation and life of the centrifugal pump, so the installation and calibration must be carried out carefully.

1. Single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump installation and calibration
a. Remove the grease and dirt from the base and place the base on the foundation;
b. Check the levelness of the base with a spirit level, it is allowed to level it with a wedge iron, and level it with a spirit level, and the level tolerance is not more than 0.1mm/m;
c. Cement the base and anchor bolt holes;
d. After the cement is dry, check whether the holes of the base and the anchor bolts are loose, and then tighten the anchor bolts when appropriate, and re-check the levelness;
e. Clean the support plane on the base, the plane of the centrifugal pump pump foot and the motor foot, and install the water pump and motor on the base;
f. A certain gap should be maintained between the couplings. Check whether the centerline of the pump shaft of the centrifugal pump and the motor shaft are consistent, and can be adjusted with thin shims to make them concentric.
Use a knife-edge ruler to measure the upper and lower, left and right positions of the outer circle of the two couplings of the machine and pump. The measurement tolerance shall not exceed 0.1mm, and the maximum and minimum gap difference between the two coupling end face gaps around the circumference shall not exceed 0.3mm.
g. Installation of centrifugal pump flushing water piping. See Table 3.9-1 and Table 3.9-2 for the piping arrangement of the axial seal (packing seal or mechanical seal) of the centrifugal pump.
h. Installation of pressure gauges. If the pressure gauge is installed on the centrifugal pump body, first remove the wire thread on the inlet and outlet flanges of the pump body, install the pressure gauge connector part on the flange wire hole, and then install the pressure gauge on the connector. At this point, the valve on the joint part should be closed;
i. Installation of cooling water. For single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump types with cooling cavity such as IR, IRG, FN, etc., a cooling water system needs to be installed. When installing, first remove the two wires on the cooling chamber cover, connect the cooling water inlet and outlet pipes to the two wire holes, and open the cooling water system before turning on the pump to fill the cooling chamber with water.
2. Single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump installation instructions
a. The pipeline of the centrifugal pump should have its own support, and the weight of the pipeline is not allowed to be added to the centrifugal pump to avoid crushing the pump;
b. If the discharge pipeline is equipped with a check valve, the check valve should be installed on the outside of the gate valve (away from the side of the pump set).
