Tips for Repairing Water Pump Pumps
The main engine of the water pump is the water pump. During the operation of the water pump, it is inevitable that failure and damage will occur, resulting in the inability to pump water normally. Therefore, when the pump is found to be poorly pumped, it must be repaired and adjusted in time.
1. The pump does not absorb or drain water
Most of the reasons are that the bottom valve is stuck, the water filter is partially blocked, the water absorption height is too high, or the water absorption leaks. It may also be due to incorrect steering, blockage of the impeller flow channel, etc. After passing the inspection one by one, measures such as repairing the bottom valve, removing the silt, correcting the steering and cleaning the impeller can be taken respectively.
2. Water leakage or air leakage in the pipeline
The nut may not be tightened tightly during installation. If the leakage is not serious, cement or cement slurry mixed with asphalt oil can be applied to the place where there is air leakage or water leakage. Temporary repairs can be done with some damp mud or soft soap. If there is water leakage at the joint, you can use a wrench to tighten the nut. If the leakage is serious, it must be disassembled again.
3. The filler is overheated
Mostly because the packing is pressed too tightly, the cooling water cannot enter the packing, or the shaft surface is damaged. Appropriate measures can be taken to loosen the packing and clear the blockage of the sealing tube. Packing wear must be replaced with new ones. Before installation, it should be soaked in the oil, and loaded in circles, and the incisions should be staggered, so as to reduce water leakage. After the last round of packing is installed, the gland should be tightened, and the tightness should be adjusted during operation.
4. The pump vibrates violently
It is possible that the electric rotor is unbalanced, or the coupling is poorly combined, and the bearing is worn and bent; it is also possible that some rotating parts are loose and broken; there are also reasons such as the weak tube bracket. Adjustment, repair, reinforcement, straightening, replacement and other methods can be adopted respectively.
5. Disassembly and repair of impeller
The impeller blades are damaged, or affected by cavitation, etc., showing a lot of pitting, and should be replaced or plated with cemented carbide. When the wear is not large, it can also be filled. When disassembling, first fix the impeller and pump shaft, loosen the nut or turn the head screw of the device, and then rotate the thimble screw to gradually pull out the transmission device. Then remove the shaft from the pump casing, remove the impeller and send it to a repair shop for repair.
6. Repair of pump shaft defects
The bending of the pump shaft is mostly caused by the impact load, the belt is too tight or the installation is incorrect. If the bending is not severe, it can be corrected with a manual screw corrector, but the force should not be too strong. If the pump shaft is cracked or dismantled, it can be repaired by welding, welded or forged, and then tempered, turned and ground.
