Zoomlian Pump Industry Joins Hands with School of Energy and Power Engineering, Jiangsu University: Deepening Pump Technology Exchange and Jointly Building a New Channel for Talent Cultivation
On September 16th, Mr. Pan Shiqun, Chairman of Changsha Zoomlian Pump Industry, led a team of chief technical engineers to conduct a special exchange activity at the School of Energy and Power Engineering of Jiangsu University. With the core of "precision talent introduction and technological co-creation", this trip not only finalized a multi-level talent introduction and training plan, but also reached a consensus on in-depth cooperation in key technologies in the pump field, laying a solid dual foundation of talents and technology for the high-quality development of the enterprise.
In the discussion on the talent introduction and training plan, both parties, based on the needs of Zoomlian Pump Industry in terms of R&D team construction and technological upgrading, built a cooperative system of "integrating introduction and training". For the two advantageous majors of the school - Fluid Machinery and Power Engineering, the two parties clearly agreed to establish an "oriented delivery channel for fresh graduates". By intervening in the student internship stage in advance, customized training will be carried out focusing on core competencies such as pump system design and performance testing. Excellent talents will be selected to be directly assigned to the enterprise's R&D positions, so as to quickly supplement the fresh technical workforce.
In the technical exchange session, both parties focused on the technical pain points in the pump industry and conducted practical discussions. Combining the production and R&D experience of products such as multi-stage centrifugal pumps and long-shaft pumps, the chief technical engineer team of Zoomlian Pump Industry put forward three core demands: energy consumption optimization of high-efficiency and energy-saving pumps, anti-wear performance improvement of pump body materials in extreme environments, and stability enhancement of intelligent pump frequency conversion control systems. On the other hand, relying on the scientific research resources of the national-level large-scale open pump test bench and high-temperature and high-pressure extreme pump test bench, experts from Jiangsu University shared the latest research achievements in fields such as fluid machinery flow field simulation and pump system energy-saving transformation. The two parties also conducted precise docking on details such as the dynamic performance testing standards of the test bench and the experimental procedures for extreme working condition simulation, and determined to take "joint R&D of high-efficiency and energy-saving pump prototypes" as the entry point to promote the transformation of scientific research achievements into practical production.
The School of Energy and Power Engineering of Jiangsu University attached great importance to this cooperation. Professor Gao Bo, Vice Dean; Associate Professor Zhang Ning, Director of the Fluid Machinery Research Institute/Scientific Research Secretary; and Associate Professor Li Zhong participated in the discussions throughout the process, providing professional support in aspects such as the optimization of talent training programs and the docking of scientific research resources. After two days of in-depth communication, the two parties not only clarified the specific path of industry-university-research cooperation, but also reached a high degree of tacit understanding in two-way talent flow and technological collaborative innovation. In the future, they will fully integrate the scientific research advantages of the university and the industrial resources of the enterprise to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
