Pipeline centrifugal pump installation, disassembly and maintenance attention

 

 

   Assembly and disassembly of pipeline centrifugal pump:

 

All parts of the pipeline centrifugal pump should be inspected before assembly. The mating surface of the parts, especially the friction surface of the mechanical seal, should be cleaned. The sealing surface should not have obvious scratches, cracks, bumps and other defects. If there are any such defects, they should be replaced. .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Pipeline centrifugal pump assembly:

 

   Press the water retaining ring into the motor shaft, and fasten the middle seat to the motor with bolts.

 

After applying petroleum jelly or other lubricant to the rubber ring of the mechanical seal static ring, press the static ring assembly into the middle seat along the axis, and apply clean grease on the sealing surface, install other sealing parts, install flat keys, impellers and Stop washer, and tighten with bolts.

 

   Note: The sealing rubber ring of the mechanical seal static ring is easy to be sideways during installation, which will cause the mechanical seal to leak, and should be carefully checked during installation.

 

   Apply a proper amount of grease on the sealing end face of the middle seat, and install an O-ring. When installing the O-ring, the sealing ring is easy to fall off and fold, please be careful to avoid water leakage

 

   Lift up the motor assembly, move the impeller downwards, and slowly slip it into the pump body, then fasten it with bolts, install various pipe plugs and vent plugs.

 

   Rotate the rotor by hand to check if it is stuck.

 

  Disassembly:

 

   Reverse the installation steps.

 

   Note: When disassembling the mechanical seal, do not directly hit the static ring with a hammer or hammer, tap lightly with wood, and slowly take out the static ring. If there is dirt accumulation and it is difficult to disassemble, it should be cleaned before disassembly.

 

 

 

   Installation, operation and maintenance of pipeline centrifugal pump unit:

 

   Installation:

 

   When installing, choose a place close to the delivery liquid, so that the pump is installed at a relatively small suction height and a relatively short suction pipeline

 

   Note: Ensure that the distance between the unit and the surrounding obstacles is greater than 150 mm, so that the motor fan can obtain sufficient air source.

 

   When the pump is used in places with strict vibration requirements, a shock absorber (pad) can be used, which must be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions.

 

   The installation of the pipeline should be reliable and fixed, and the pipeline support close to the pump flange should have sufficient rigidity, and the pump should not be allowed to bear the weight and pressure of the pipeline.

 

  The installation of the pump set should avoid direct sunlight and rain.

 

   The inlet of the pump should be equipped with a vacuum pressure gauge, and the outlet flange should be equipped with a pressure gauge to observe and control the operation of the pump. The range of the pressure gauge should be 2 to 3 times the actual pressure.

 

   The inlet and outlet pipelines of the pump should be equipped with gate valves to facilitate maintenance and operation adjustment.

 

   Wiring: It must be wired correctly according to the nameplate requirements. When wiring, the terminal must be firm and no looseness is allowed. Otherwise, it will cause poor contact and cause lack of phase and burn the machine. In order to ensure the reliable operation of the motor, an overload protection device should be installed at the electrical switch, and the setting value of the protection device should be adjusted according to the current requirements on the motor nameplate.

 

  Warning: If the overload protection device is not installed, the motor will burn out due to overload when the water outlet valve is fully opened, large flow operation or a sudden increase in current under certain circumstances.
