Installation steps and foundation of high-pressure mine water pump

05 Feb 2021Email

The installation steps of the high-pressure mine water pump generally include placing the pump on the foundation to find the level and connecting the pump pipeline. In addition to the general installation requirements, the following two points should be paid attention to when installing this type of pump:

A) There must be a clearance of 3~7mm between the motor coupling and the coupling of the high-pressure mine water pump (see the e or L7 column value in the installation dimension table for the specific clearance value), which is close to the displacement of the pump.

b) The axis lines of the motor and the pump must be straight in the same plane. A feeler gauge can be used to measure the uniformity of the gap between the end faces of the two couplings. In all directions of the circumference, the difference between the maximum and minimum gaps must not exceed 0.05mm. The difference between the top and bottom or left and right of the center line of the two end surfaces should not exceed 0.05 mm.

Equipment required for installation of high-pressure mine water pump

Pump installation requires the following conventional and special equipment and tools:

  A) Lifting equipment with suitable and safe load capacity;

  B) Each anchor bolt must be equipped with a steel shim iron or wedge iron for leveling the base;

  A) The grouting material must be non-shrinking grouting material. For grouting, a wooden box must be prepared and equipped with a funnel.

  D) In order to install and remove the packing, a set of special tools is required, such as a clamp with a hook.

The foundation of high-pressure mine water pump

The foundation of the high-pressure mine water pump must be a concrete foundation with sufficient strength and size. No. 400 ordinary cement can be used for concrete cement. The yellow sand must be pure coarse sand without soil and other impurities. The stones are solid pebbles or crushed stones. The mixing ratio of cement is 1:2:5, which is 1 part of cement. 2 parts of sand and 5 parts of stones. When grouting the cement, a wooden frame should be placed near the ground and above the ground. The material label of the secondary grouting should be twice as high as the base material. The site after the unit is installed For pouring and construction, it must be compacted and evenly combined with the original concrete. The mass of the foundation is approximately equal to 3~5 times the mass of the unit. The foundation of the pump should be 50~70mm longer than the base of the pump, and an anchor bolt hole (3~4 times the pipe diameter of the anchor bolt) should be reserved.

Foundation laying includes the following contents: the positioning of the anchor bolt holes of the foundation, grouting and setting aside the position of the external connecting pipeline, and then grouting in the remaining space.

The surface of the foundation can be rough to make the grouting effect good.

Install the equipment after the foundation is completely cured.

Move and find the level:

Place a steel shim and wedge or adjustment pad under the base or equipment. Generally, they are placed at the anchor bolts. If the base or equipment is longer, a shim iron can be placed between the two anchor bolts.

Inspect the base or the foundation under the equipment, and clean the dust, oil and other debris.

Lifting hooks are used to suspend the base or equipment on the lifting ears or holes, and then hang the base or equipment above the foundation. Slowly place the base or equipment and align the position of each anchor bolt hole.

Use a knife-edge flat ruler and a mechanical level to put the pump and motor foot processing plane or foundation, adjust the thickness of the wedge iron or the adjustment pad to determine the level of the base or the equipment in each direction, it is recommended that the unevenness of each 100mm length If it is less than 0.25mm, the nut of the anchor bolt should be tightened to an appropriate level (not too tight), and the wedge iron or adjusting washer should be tightened.

The base or equipment is leveled, and the foundation is tightly matched before grouting.

The grouting of the base or equipment:

The concrete foundation should be cured for at least 7 days before grouting.

In order to ensure the removal of the low-strength, loose concrete at the grouting part, a sharp hammer should be used to shave off the top of the cement base material by about 10-25mm before grouting.

All grease, lubricating oil, paint, foam on the cement surface and other useless debris should be removed from the surface that needs grouting. The rough concrete surface should be blown away with oily compressed air to remove dust and loose particles. If cement mortar is used, the concrete surface should be soaked with water until it no longer absorbs water, and the excess water should be removed.

The base or equipment should be placed at the required position. The base or equipment should be supported on a wedge-shaped adjustment pad or leveling screw, and anchor bolts should be used to fix the base or equipment at the bottom of the base or the edge of the equipment and the chiseled foundation A grouting gap of about 25-50mm is allowed between the tops.

Before grouting, all water and foreign debris in the reserved holes of the anchor bolts should be removed.

If there are cavities after grouting, epoxy mortar can be used to fill these cavities. If cement mortar is used for grouting, it is recommended that the cement mortar be cured for 28 days before filling the cavities with epoxy mortar. In the found cavities, the epoxy mortar is usually filled with a hand pump. Extreme care should be taken to ensure that the pressure is not excessive to avoid warping the base or the top of the equipment. At least one vent hole should be drilled in each cavity to prevent excessive pressure.

When the grouting material is cured, tighten the nut of the anchor bolt, and then paint the grouting material to prevent moisture.

After grouting, the pump and motor are adjusted.
