I. Leakage of the shaft seal
Mechanical seal issues:
Cause: Aging or damage of the auxiliary sealing components of the mechanical seal leads to seal failure.
Solution: Replace the mechanical seal, especially for corrosion-resistant pumps, materials that can withstand high temperatures and acids and alkalis should be selected.
2. Packing seal issues:
Cause: The packing is either too tightly or loosely compressed, resulting in water leakage.
Solution: Adjust the packing gland bolts to moderately compress the packing, avoiding it being too tight or too loose. If the packing is severely worn, replace it with new packing.
3. Installation Issues:
Cause: Bolts were not tightened properly or the installation was incorrect.

4. Problems with the sealing surface:
