1. Poor lubrication: insufficient lubricating oil in the bearing, or the lubricating oil deteriorates.

2. Improper installation or operation: incorrect installation of oil seal, damaged or blocked sealing gasket, damaged mechanical seal, etc.

3. The clearance reserved for the position when the bearing clearance is installed is too small.

4. The bearing assembly is not in place.

5. The oil throwing ring is seriously deformed or damaged.

Second, the treatment method of double suction pump bearing heating:

1. Check the tightness of the oil seal, replace the oil seal, and ensure the cleanliness of the seal.

2. Clean the seals with No. 10 engine oil or kerosene, and replace the seals if necessary.

3. Replace the sealing ring: remove the seal and replace it with a new sealing ring according to the original size specifications; Replace the crude oil seal with a mechanical seal.

4. Replace the spring ring: reinstall the spring pad, clean it with No. 10 oil, and put it into the spring pad according to the requirements; tighten the spring pressure pad; Twist the piston rod nut of the hydraulic cylinder to open the hydraulic cylinder piston; Check whether the piston rod nut of the hydraulic cylinder is loose.

5. Check whether there is leakage in the hydraulic system, if it is found that there is leakage, it should be repaired in time, and replace the oil seal if necessary.

6. The installation of the mechanical seal of the double suction pump should be paid attention to

6.1 When installing, press the bearing cover by hand, and if a slight pressing sound can be heard, the shaft can be tightened.

6.2 If the pressing force is found to be insufficient, it can be properly tightened or replaced with a new oil seal.

6.3 Dimensional tolerances, thickness and surface roughness should be paid attention to when installing seals (e.g. made of metal materials).

6.4 Shaft wear or sleeve deformation, excessive clearance between the sleeve and shaft, poor contact between the sleeve and the bearing or friction occurs during operation, causing high temperature phenomenon.

6.5 Incorrect installation, severe wear of seals, bent and loose sealing rings, etc.

6.6 Seal packing leakage or serious wear of mechanical seal, resulting in shaft seal failure.

7. Bearing and rolling element damage: replace or repair.

8. Lack of lubricating oil in the bearing: check whether the bearing is short of oil, and fill an appropriate amount of lubricating oil (the amount of addition should not flow away).

9. The shaft sleeve and shaft seal are damaged, replace the shaft assembly.

10. The impeller is seriously worn, the blade gap is too large and the repair work after the blade is damaged.

11. The rotating shaft should be checked frequently during operation, and the axial clearance should be adjusted in time if it is found that the axial clearance is too large.

12. The bearing temperature should be checked frequently during work, and if an abnormal situation is found, it should be stopped immediately to find the cause.

13. Motor start: open the water pipe before starting, so that the pump body is filled with water.

The double suction pump should pay attention to the following matters in the work: 1. Before installation, check whether there is any debris in the pump to prevent the debris from blocking the gap of the rotor; 2. Check whether the pipeline is unblocked; 3. Before work, fill with water or diversion water to test the working effect (such as abnormal sound and vibration during operation, indicating that the pump is faulty); 4. Check whether the motor steering and speed are consistent with the shaft; 5. Check the wear of the impeller sealing surface and the working performance of the seal to prevent damage to the base or bearing; 6. When the motor load exceeds the rated number of revolutions, it must be stopped for maintenance.
